Yakuza Kiwami – The original Yakuza game was released in 2005 for the PlayStation 2. To celebrate its tenth anniversary, its sequel Yakuza Kiwami was released in 2016. Now, the game is making its debut on the Nintendo Switch.

The story revolves around Kazuma Kiryu, a former member of the Yakuza. An unexpected event leads to his first prison sentence. After his release, he gradually disappears from public view, forgetting about his existence. His family is plunged into chaos, his children are greatly affected, and the appearance of a mysterious figure becomes the central character of the story. The game has a rich and complex plot, comparable in many ways to a good movie. It has many heart-wrenching moments, and overall, successfully immerses the player in the protagonist’s world. Kazuma Kiryu is a very complex character; Although initially appearing callous and ruthless, his humanity gradually emerges when faced with difficult moral choices.
